    Caramelized White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

    These caramelized white chocolate covered pretzels are the easiest no bake sweet & salty snack, made with just three ingredients!

    These white chocolate covered pretzels aren't made with just any regular white chocolate, but with gorgeous golden caramelized white chocolate. Of course, you could always use regular white chocolate or even dark chocolate, but there's something about the combination of salty pretzels and high-quality white chocolate with notes of caramel.

    • White Chocolate: True white chocolate contains at least 20% cocoa butter. I highly recommend using a true high-quality white chocolate, such as Ghirardelli, Valrhona, or Callebaut.
    • Pretzels: Use any type of pretzel you'd like!
    • Flaky Sea Salt: Though the flaky sea salt is technically optional, it kind of isn't. Trust me, don't skip the flaky sea salt!

    Step by Step Instructions

    This no bake sweet & salty snack couldn't be any easier! Just melt your favorite chocolate or make this caramelized white chocolate, dip some mini pretzels, and chill until set. So easy and so so good.

    STEP 1: Make the caramelized white chocolate by baking high-quality white chocolate at 200 degrees F in 10 minute intervals until light golden. For more detailed instructions, see this post.

    STEP 2: Dip the pretzels in the melted caramelized white chocolate. Shake them off over the bowl to drip off the excess before placing on the parchment paper.

    STEP 3: Drizzle more caramelized white chocolate on top, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, then chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes. 

    STEP 4: Peel the pretzels off of the parchment paper and enjoy! 

    Expert Baking Tips

    • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal of the pretzels and easy cleanup!
    • Be sure to let them chill for at least 10 minutes so the chocolate fully sets. 
    • Make these ahead of time for snacks throughout the week or to bring to a party!

    Baking in Grams

    All of the recipes on this blog are carefully developed with gram measurements so you can easily recreate them in your own kitchen with success. Volume measurements are extremely inaccurate and leave room for significant errors. Not all measuring cups are made equally, so your one cup of flour will be different from my one cup of flour. By providing precise measurements in grams (aside from minor ingredients, which are given in tsp/tbsp), you can make these recipes accurately and with less cleanup! All you need is this kitchen scale. 

    If this still isn't enough to convince you, I have provided volume measurements in the recipe card. If you are interested in understanding the conversions, this is the best conversion chart.

    But trust me, once you try baking in grams you'll never turn back!

    Description

    These caramelized white chocolate covered pretzels are the easiest no bake sweet & salty snack, made with just three ingredients!


    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 12 oz caramelized white chocolate
    • about 3 cups mini pretzels
    • flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

    Instructions

    1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. Melt the caramelized white chocolate or other chocolate in a medium bowl in 20 second increments.
    3. Dip each pretzel in the melted chocolate or use a fork to coat them completely. Tap the fork on the side of the bowl to drip off any excess, then place on the parchment lined baking sheet.
    4. Once all of the pretzels are coated, transfer the remainder of the caramelized white chocolate into a piping bag.
    5. Snip off the tip and drizzle on to of each pretzel.
    6. Sprinkle each with flaky sea salt, then place in the fridge to chill for at least 10 minutes.
    7. Peel off of the parchment paper and enjoy!
