Weigh out ingredients
You'll need cake flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, butter, egg, oil, yogurt, milk, and vanilla.
Make the batter
Beat the butter into the dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Divide the batter between two 6-inch cake pans, and bake for about 30 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
Make the vanilla swiss meringue buttercream and decorate the cake as desired.
