Ingredients

  • 113 g (½ cup) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon (1 teaspoon) vanilla
  • 20 oz mini marshmallows, + more for topping
  • 185 g (6 cups) rice krispies cereal
  • 140 g (8 crackers) graham crackers, crushed into small pieces + more for topping
  • 2 oz semisweet chocolate, roughly chopped + more for topping
  • 15 chewy caramels, cut into small pieces + more for topping

Instructions

  • Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease the paper with cooking spray or neutral oil.
  • In a large saucepan, heat the butter and vanilla over medium heat until fully melted.
  • Turn the heat down to low-medium heat and add the marshmallows, stirring frequently with a rubber spatula until fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and add in the rice krispies cereal and graham crackers, mixing until fully coated.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then fold in the chopped chocolate and chewy caramels.
  • Immediately transfer to the prepared pan and pack in with a ⅓ measuring cup into an even layer.
  • Top with extra mini marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate, and caramels, as desired.
  • Optional: Broil for 3-5 minutes to toast the marshmallows and melt the chocolate and caramels slightly.
  • Allow the rice krispies to set at room temperature for at least one hour.
  • Cut into 16 squares and enjoy!
