Overnight Cinnamon Star Bread



For this recipe you'll need yeast, milk, sugar, eggs, flour, salt, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar,  cream cheese, and powdered sugar.

Make the dough


Mix lukewarm milk, yeast, sugar, and eggs with flour until fully combined. Add butter a few pieces at a time, then mix on high speed for 8 minutes until smooth.

Proof the dough


Once the dough is ready, transfer it to a lightly greased bowl, cover, and allow to proof in the fridge overnight.



Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Roll each out into a 7" circle. Spread a few tablespoons of filling onto the first layer, add the second layer of dough, and repeat with all layers. Cut 16 pieces and turn them outwards twice as pictured.

Proof & Bake


Proof the dough for about 30 minutes, then bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Cool before topping with cream cheese frosting.
