Salted Caramel Linzer Cookies

Weigh out ingredients


You'll need all-purpose flour, almond flour, warm spices, salt, sugar, butter, egg, powdered sugar, and caramel sauce.

Make the dough


Whisk together the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Add the egg and vanilla, then fold in the dry ingredients. Chill the dough overnight.



Roll out the cookie dough and cutout 3" cookies. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees F. Allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet.


Pair the linzer cookies up and sprinkle powdered sugar on the top cookies. Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce on the bottom cookie, then place the paired cookie on top.
